Dean joins us as a highly experienced IT professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. He is a born and bred Manawatu local, starting his journey with computers back in the days of the Commodore Amiga 500.
Dean has managed stores for Bond and Bond and Dick Smith, and eventually started his own IT business, DR Electronics, which started out as an electronic retail store in Fielding. He has a wide range of expertise, including retail marketing and business law, and has been involved in the gaming industry for over two decades.
Some highlights include the 1st modified PC on New Zealand TV news in 2004 and the first gaming LAN with over 150 people in Aotearoa. Dean is a family man and loves spending time with his two “awesome” kids. He is known for his honest and straightforward approach and commitment to providing customers with the right solution. He takes pride in doing his best in all that he does. In his free time, you might find Dean on a mountain, either biking or snowboarding or travelling to destinations like Austria and Vanuatu.
